DC Jagadeesh Directs Officials to Register FIR against COVID-19 Patient for Not Disclosing His Travel History
Udupi: The Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh has directed the officials to register a criminal case against the coronavirus-infected woman who allegedly did not disclose her travel history.
Speaking to Media persons, G Jagadeesh said, “The coronavirus-infected lab technician woman had participated in a programme, after she had arrived from Maharashtra. Her ignorance led to at least six people, including her son, father, father-in-law, sister-in-law, sister and one of her relative getting infected with the virus”.
The district administration as a measure to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus has asked people to disclose their travel history or face action. DC also urged citizens not to “hide” their travel history.
