DCIB Arrest Two Drug Peddlers in Sullia, Seize 1.3 Kgs Ganja
Mangaluru: The DCIB police arrested two drug peddlers in Sullia here on August 18.
The arrested have been identified as Theertha Prasad (25) from Kasaba and Vinayak (30) from. Chikka Mudnur Puttur.
According to the police on August 18, on getting reliable information about two youth who were selling Ganja in an auto rickshaw bearing registration number KA 21 A 8353 and a motorbike KA 21 Q 0266 at Vivekananda Circle Sullia, the DCIB police got into action and raided the spot. As soon as the drug peddlers saw the police they tried to escape, but the police chased and arrested both the accused.
The police seized 1.3 kgs of Ganja, a motorbike and an autorickshaw all worth Rs 2.42 Lakh from their possession.
Under the direction of SP of DK Dr Ravikanthe Gowda and additional SP Sajith the operation was carried out by the DCIB Police Inspector Sunil Naik, Laxman K G, Narayan, Uday Gowda, Praveen M, Taranath S, Praveen Rai, Shona Shah and Suresh.
