Debt worries: 29-year-old youth commits suicide in Padubidri

Udupi: In a tragic incident, a 29-year-old youth committed suicide due to debt-related stress in Padubidri on Wednesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Nasrulla.

Nasrallah, who was working abroad, had returned to his hometown three months ago. He was reportedly under stress due to debt and was harassed by bank officials and loan recovery agents.

According to the police, Nasrallah was found dead in his bedroom, where he had hanged himself using a rope tied to the fan. A case has been registered at the Padubidri police station.
