Deepak’s Body Taken to Katipalla, BJP Leaders Protest
Mangaluru: Hindu leaders opposed the police taking the body of Deepak Rao to his house and staged a protest in Kataipalla.
On January 4, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel visited the Hospital to view Deepak’s body. As soon as MP Nalin Kumar Kateel left, the police took the body to Deepak’s house in order to avoid any untoward incidents later.
As soon as the body reached Katipalla the BJP leaders took the police to task. They said that Deepak was not an orphan for the police to bring his body to his house. They did not allow the police to take the body out of the ambulance.
