Delhi Assembly polls: Modi to hold rally on Monday
New Delhi: Political parties have intensified campaigning for the Delhi assembly elections as the polling date approaches fast. The BJP is going all guns blazing with top leadership hitting the campaign trail for February 8 assembly polls.
After Amit Shah, J.P.Nadda and Yogi Adityanath, now Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a rally in East Delhi’s Karkardooma on Monday.
PM Modi will address another rally on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, BJP Presidents Nadda will be addressing ‘nukkad sabhas’ at Shakurbasti, Model Town, and Chandani Chowk.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address rallies at Kanjhawala, Sadar Bazar and Paharganj; while Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will hold public meetings at Kirari, Mangolpuri and Badarpur; and Smriti Irani will will hit the campaign trail at Trinagar, Karol Bagh and Madipur.
These apart, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari will be addressing ‘nukkad sabhas’ in Seemapuri, Mustafabad and Karawal Nagar.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur is also scheduled to address election meetings in Delhi. He will attend public meetings in Palam, Dwarka Tilak Nagar and Shahpura while Union Minister Piyush Goyal will address public meetings in Trinagar, Rohini, Wazirpur and Nangloi. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai will address public meetings in Rithala.
