Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy Arrive in Udupi for Naturopathy Treatment
Udupi: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy along with his father, former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, arrived at the Udupi health resort for a week-long treatment on Sunday, April 28.
The chief minister and his father arrived in Udupi on Sunday night from Mangalore International Airport. They then went to the Sai Radha Health resort in Moolur, Kaup where it is learnt that they will undergo four-days-long Ayurveda treatment.
The chief minister who came to Kaup to undergo the treatment had earlier discontinued it and returned to Bengaluru for the funeral ceremony of the JDS leaders who were killed in Sri Lanka. It is also learnt that both of them were undergoing Ayurveda treatment, along with the Panchakarma treatment.
The chief minister has decided to spend his visit in private. He has instructed the police not to allow outsiders in and around the resort area. The Police personnel objected to the presence of camera crews and media persons who had gone there to get some coverage on Sunday night. The police also refused to allow anyone to loiter on the public road outside the resort.
Before coming to the resort, Chief Minister Kumaraswamy and JDS Supremo H D Devegowda participated in the marriage ceremony of former Byndoor MLA Gopal Poojary’s daughter at Ambagilu.
