Digital Platforms to be Explored for upcoming Assembly Polls – Amrith Shenoy
Udupi: Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Minister in-charge District Pramod Madhwaraj has effectively promoted development in the district with rupees 1769 crore, digital platforms will be explored to publicize the works initiated in the constituency”, said President of the Campaign Committee, Udupi Legislative Council Amrith Shenoy. He was speaking at a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands, here on July 12.
Pramod Madhwaraj had won by the whooping majority of 39524 votes. He has initiated effective development in the constituency by taking into confidence the people of all castes and religions. The construction of Malpe-Padukere Bridge has been completed at a cost of Rs 16.91 crore. The Agriculture University has been set up in Bramhavar at a cost of Rs 4 crore. The relief fund for fishermen in cases of death in the sea has been raised from 2 lakh to 5 lakh and many other schemes have been formulated for the welfare of the poor people.
When asked about the BJP’s allegation on the construction and naming the colony after Pramod Madhwaraj, he said that the residents of the colony as a kind gesture have named the colony after him, as Pramod Madhwaraj had put a lot of efforts in the sanction of the land for the colony.
He also said that politicians should refrain from provoking the people in communal tensed areas, the violation of Section 144 in Kalladka should be dealt with according to the law. The government will take necessary action within the legal parameters to nab the accused in the crimes reported in the coastal areas.
We are not against the private bus owners. The private bus owners should have consulted the KSRTC and District Minister In-charge before moving a petition to the High Court, inconvenience is caused to the public as the high court has stayed JNURM buses in the District.
He also said that an effective campaign will be held in the social media and other digital platforms to present the developments initiated by Pramod Madhwaraj.
