DK District Admin All Set to Control COVID -19 from Spreading
Mangaluru: The district administration has taken all the necessary measures to control the spread of the Corona Virus in the district.
On March 14, a meeting was convened by the district minister in-charge Kota Srinivas Poojary at the DC office.
According to the report, the district administration has screened 836 people and 60 people are under home quarantine. Already 6 people have completed their quarantine period. 8 samples have been sent for tests of which 4 reports have already been received and are found negative. Four persons who are admitted to the hospital are under observation.
The district minister in-charge Kota Srinivas Poojary has requested the people to co-operate with the health officers and the district administration. He has also advised the people not to panic as the district administration has taken all the necessary measures to control the spread of COVID-19.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Ivan D’Souza, MLA Rajesh Naik, DC Sindhu Roopesh, Police Commissioner Dr Harsha, Mayor Divakar and others were also present.
