DK Reports 18 new Coronavirus Positive Cases, Tally Rises to 24 on Single-day
Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district has reported 18 new coronavirus positive cases in the evening bringing the total number of infections to 24 on May 28.
All the 24 persons had travelled from Maharastra to Dakshina Kannada.
On May 28 morning, the state health bulletin had announced 6 coronavirus positive cases in Dakshina Kannada. But the evening health bulletin announced Eighteen more positive cases taking the tally to 24 on a single day.
Patient Number 2498 to 2510 and P-2512 to 2516 had travelled from Maharastra to Dakshina Kannada, they were under quarantine and their throat swab was sent for test. On May 28, all the 24 were confirmed positive for the virus.
All of them have now been shifted to the designated COVID hospital in Dakshina Kannada.
