DK Reports Second COVID-19 Death of 75-year-old Woman
Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada has reported its second COVID-19 death on April 23 after a 75-year-old woman died at the COVID hospital here.
The 75-year-old woman from Bantwal was the mother-in-law of the 50-year-old woman who died of COVID-19 on April 19.
On April 18, the 75-year-old woman from Bantwal had suffered a stroke and was admitted to the First Neuro Hospital in Kannur, Padil.
On April 22, she was shifted to the ICU at the Wenlock COVID Hospital. Her throat SWAB was sent for test and was confirmed positive for COVID-19. On April 23, her condition deteriorated and the woman breathed her last at around 5:30 pm.
