DK Reports Third COVID-19 Death of 67-Year-Old Woman
Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada has reported its third COVID-19 death after a 67-year-old woman died at the Wenlock COVID hospital here on April 30.
The 67-year-old woman from Bantwal was the neighbour of the 50-year-old woman who died of COVID-19 on April 19.
On April 18 when the woman was admitted to the Wenlock hospital where she was tested and found to be suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Illness. She was also a diabetic and suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. On April 20 she was tested positive for COVID-19. She was being treated in the ICU with ventilator support. Her condition deteriorated and she breathed her last on April 30 at 5:40 pm.
This is the third COVID-19 death reported in Dakshina Kannada.
