DKMO Riyadh Contributes Rs 3 Lakh to Abdul Ghafoor Basrur Family
Saudi Arabia: Dakshina Karnataka Muslim Okkoota (DKMO), an NRI based organization in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh handed over Rs 3 Lakh to the family of late Abdul Ghafoor Basrur, who was a member of DKMO, Riyadh.
The Amount was handed over by the DKMO President Abdul Azeez Bajpe along with DKMO Secretary Ismail Montepadav, DKMO Executive Committee Member Shafi Thodar and Abbas Maani to Late Abdul Ghafoor’s son.
The DKMO organization was set up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with an intention to support the families of the deceased NRI’s in case of sudden death. In the Past, DKMO has helped in 8 such cases across Dakshina Karnataka.
DKMO is established with an objective to support the NRI’s in Saudi Arabia. Currently, there are more than 1000 members who are the backbone of the organization. Initially, DKMO was formed with an agenda to support the families of the deceased NRIs through FRF (Family Relief Fund) scheme. But now DKMO has expanded with other objectives, like Financial Loan for the needy Members, Air tickets for Stranded NRI’s, General Relief Fund, Micro Loan to support self-employment in India and to support the Anti Dowry Campaign.
