Does Yeddyurappa know the meaning of Charge Sheet? – Ivan D’Souza
Mangaluru: “I have filed a complaint on February 17 at the Malleshwaram police station to investigate the voice on the CD. On May 13, former CM will present the charge sheet against the state government. The Court of the 1st Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Bengaluru has directed former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and Minister Ananth Kumar to appear before the Investigation officer to give their voice samples within 7 days from the date of the order. The order was passed on May 6 and Yeddyurappa and Ananth Kumar should appear before the investigation officer within a week”, said Chief Whip Ivan D’Souza in a press meet held at his Office, MCC Premises here on May 11.
Addressing the mediapersons Ivan said, “Yeddyurappa will present the charge sheet of the State government on May 13, but I ask, does Yeddyurappa know the meaning of charge sheet? what moral right Yeddyurappa has to present the charge sheet. The cases filed against him are still under investigation and he is on bail. He is the only chief minister who created history by going to jail when he was in power. What moral right Yeddyurappa has to present a charge sheet on the state government? When Yeddyurappa was in power a charge sheet was filed against him, there are still 14 cases against him in court. Being a former CM, he along with 15 ministers had gone to jail.”
Ivan further said, when BJP was in power they did not provide a stable government nor did they fulfil the demands of the people. Corruption was their agenda, they had changed three CMs. BJP made three groups BJP, KJP and Ananth Kumar. The present Congress government without any corruption is in its fourth year of tenure with only one CM. No minister from the Congress has gone to jail like the BJP. Instead of presenting the charge sheet let the BJP come to discuss the issues with the congress. Let us see whatever promises the Congress government has fulfilled and let the BJP present their list. Yeddyurappa should first know the meaning of Chargesheet.”
Ivan also said, “The State government under the Anna Bhagya scheme has benefited 4.5 crore people. when the congress talks about making a hunger-free state, BJP is talking about Congress free state. Congress is involved in inclusive politics and is concerned about all the people of the state. Whereas the BJP is involved in exclusive politics and is trying to divide the community. In connection with Yeddyurappa and Ananth Kumar’s CD, I have filed a complaint with the Malleshwar police. Yeddyurappa is on bail, on the Chargesheet filed against him, let him first clear the 14 cases against him and then present the charge sheet against Congress. At present Yeddyurappa has 16 cases including the one I have filed. 44 BJP leaders have cases against them. The court has directed Yeddyurappa and Ananth Kumar to give their voice sample to the Malleshwar police.”
Ivan further said, “Now Yeddyurappa is saying it is not his voice, the voice has been doctored. Let the police investigate the case. Congress does not have a single case against the CM or other Political leaders. In its four years of tenure, the congress government has provided good governance.”
Ivan also said, “AICC Secretaries and general secretaries held discussions for three-day to prepare and win the forthcoming elections. MLAs, Ministers, and the chief minister attended the meeting. We are waiting for the High command to take a decision. “
When asked whether he will be an aspirant for the forthcoming elections, Ivan said, “It is always my dream, if the party gives me an opportunity I will surely contest the elections.”.
