DBEMS School was earlier affiliated to Karnataka State Board Education and with the recent development, it has been affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education as part of delivering quality education to future students. Thousands of students have marched out from the portals of DBEMS and are now shining all over the world.

The motto of the school is growing in truth and purity. The aim of the institution is to impart sound moral intellectual and physical education to the students. Co-curricular and curricular activities are provided to the students in order to promote integral development of the students and their personalities. It is a co-education institution where both boys and girls grow up together in a healthy atmosphere of equality and mutual respect. The sole aim of the founders was to establish the best school to cater to the needs of the rural and semi-urban population of this area and provide the best possible education at a reasonable cost. Though the school enjoys an enviable reputation, it still adheres to the same philosophy.

DBEMS relies heavily on human resources that are available. Humane schooling is the central theme of Don Bosco. The child is the focus of the school. A child-centered school can leave a lasting positive impact on every single child. The prime motive of DBEMS is to ensure that every child is transformed by the positive school climate.

The fundamentals of DBEMS are student centeredness, humane approach in all transactions, commitment to the welfare of the children and an intellectually stimulating ambiance which enables good learning and good behavior.

Contribution of the Correspondents

If the citizens make it a point, a hut can be converted into a temple. A barren land can be converted into cultivated land. If a hundred hands join a resourceful brain, hundred percent results are possible.

There are many people who have struggled hard for the great things to happen in this small village of Shirva.

The correspondents who have worked for the school. The institution in this rural area faced several hardships. However, the correspondents have shown that struggle leads to success.

In 2016 the far visionary Correspondent Very. Rev. Fr. Stany Tauro along with his management team dreamt the dream of CBSE School which is in its reality of threshold.

Fr Denis D’Sa talented with all rounds of knowledge took charge as correspondent of the school in last year serving tirelessly to the development of the School.

Fr. Mahesh D’Souza, present Principal has proved that strong determination is required for this achievement of the Don Bosco School. The New building project was started after his arrival as principal. He worked day and night disregarding rain, storm and sunshine towards his goal. He is polite and down to earth. He has no pride in his achievement. He opened the doors of the hearts of the people by his attractive talk.

The contributions of the church pastoral council vice president, secretary, all parishioners and donors should be also remembered when the school is being inaugurated. Headmasters, teachers and above all the people of the area have made the institution successful.

This Institute, which had started as a bud among the trials and thorns, today it has bloomed into full-fledged colourful rose spreading its beauty and fragrance in and around Shirva and also at the District Level. The Management ’s only desire is that may this institute soar high up and reach the sky. May our Lord, Mother Mary and Patron Don Bosco are with us to guide and protect our steps at all times. Education never ends, it will never end.
