“I’m aspired by the Oratory, not every Don Bosco Institute has been successful. We are very happy and very proud that Don Bosco Institute in Kuwait has such a lively and enthusiastic Oratory. I’m aware that all those who belong to the Oratory are largely they are Past Pupils and others are those who love Don Bosco are now the members of this Oratory. We are aware and we know in the early days Don Bosco began his work with the Oratory, although the scope of that Oratory which Don Bosco began and the scope of this Oratory may not match totally, but one thing is common…Young vibrant youth.”

He went to say “Watching a DBO match I was surprised to know the age of some of our players…Some elderly, but yet energetic and some young and skilful. I want to appreciate each and every player who played for Don Bosco Oratory and those who are groomed in the academy and like some of their friends make the senior team. To all the players in the Football team, Hockey team Basketball team and the Academy I wish you all the best! Like Mary Lou Retton said “A trophy carries dust. Memories last forever” I thank the Committee and The Mentor Fr Franco Pereira – sdb for building the ambience of love and the fellowship which is enjoyed at the Oratory. We are here adhering and not to compete, we want to win but there is much more we win as a team. As a Rector of the Don Bosco community here and as a friend, let us continue this good spirit we have, the spirit of fighting but more than that the spirit of fellowship.”

The young budding talent in music from IEAS performed and showcased their talents playing Eagles “Hotel California” and a Jazz piece “The group – Nash Menezes, Joel Filipe, Elrich Miranda and Jacob Abraham”, who mesmerised the audience.

Another two young dancers Calder Dias and Christa Vincent performed on Anna Kendrick‘s – Cup (When I am gone) track, a superb performance by both young and talented performers. Both graceful and light on their feet moved to the perfection beat of the music.
