Mumbai, April 24 (IANS) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has urged his fans and well-wishers to pitch in to make “this world a better place for children” by not employing them.
He tweeted: “Each of us has the power to make this world a better place for children. #dont_employ_little_ones”.
The cine icon has raised his voice against the social menace of child labour at a time when several celebrities like cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and chess maestro Viswanathan Anand, along with a number of stars like Soha Ali Khan, Mandira Bedi, and actor Kunal Kemmu, have joined Reliance General Insurance’s Twitter campaign against child labour that was launched last week.
