Don’t Think He’s ‘Mad’! Huccha Venkat Aspiring for India’s Next PM?
Mangaluru: You may think controversial Kannada film star Huccha Venkat from Bengaluru could be Mad, when he makes certain statements- but seems like according to Him, he’s NOT? He is very serious on becoming the Prime Minister of India someday. Huchha Venkat has been a regular at the Press Club these days, either promoting his upcoming movie “Dictator” which is still being shot, and now he was once again at Press Club to brief the media persons about him being contesting in the forthcoming assembly election from the Rajarajeshwari Nagar {R R Nagar} Constituency in Bengaluru as an Independent Candidate. Actor-director-singer Huccha Venkat, who shot to fame after his stint Kannada “Bigg Boss”, had once said that he plans to contest in 2018 legislative assembly elections, and he has made it a reality.
Addressing the media “Huccha” said, ” I am saddened by the living conditions of people in rural areas and the financially backward in urban centres, and so I decided to contest in the upcoming elections as an independent from R R Nagar constituency in Bengaluru. This is my first step towards becoming the Prime Minister. Once I win this election and become an MLA or an MP, I am confident that someday I will be the PM, and if I become the PM, I would ensure that women wear only sarees or salwars on the streets, and not tight fit Western outwear”
” I am not offering any money from Rs 500-2000, nor would give free pressure/rice cooker or liquor bottle or saree etc, instead will contest with offering any gifts. I would formed the ‘Huccha Venkat Party’ before announcing my election plans, but due to short of time it wasn’t possible. that he was short on time. And one thing for sure I will not fold hands or seek votes with door-to-door campaigns, nor will I give out freebies, but people can vote for me if they want to, just looking at my nature, my love for the community and my hard work. If people have faith in me, they can vote for me, if not it’s okay, I won’t mind. But remember that if you don’t vote for me, I am not the loser, You will be the loser for not voting and making me your representative” added Huccha Venkat.
“Huchha” further said, ” I am living a simple life, not like other MLA and politicians who live a lavish life on others cost, I mean to say citizens money, and spend enormously on election campaign. While they eat Chicken Kabab or Kalmi Kabab, I still eat my regular food of Chitranna or Bisibele bath. I am common man trying my best to work and fight for a common man. Just look at all the government offices and the officials working there, these offices have turned out to be private offices depending on bribe, influence, corruption and what not. My intention to contest in the election is not become famous as an MLA or MP, but I want to represent the citizens and fight for their grievances.”
While concluding he said, “My dad had always said to respect women, and I had always taken his words very seriously. First I thought to have my symbol as ‘Women Chappals’, but on a second thought and due to few suggestions from others that it would discriminate men, I have used my symbol as regular style ‘Chappals’. I have decided to contest from Rajarajeshwari Nagar, because this is where I grew up, and also where my grandfather and my dad grew up. So I want to make my contribution to this constituency. I would rather prefer losing than winning by unethical means. I am quite sure about what needs to be done for the good of a constituency. If people have trust and faith, they will elect me as their nest representative or MLA”.

Mr. Huccha Venkat seems more of a Humanitarian, and certainly not a Politician.
Mr. Huccha Venkat should run a Charitable Institution and shelter, feed, clothe, and educate those whom he finds the need to do. God will certainly bless him.
