Dr Jagadeesha is new DC, A B Ibrahim Transferred to Bengaluru
Mangaluru: Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim has been transferred to Bengaluru here on July 21.
DC Ibrahim has been transferred to Bengaluru as the commissioner of transport and Road safety. In his three years of tenure he has won the hearts and confidence of the people and is popularly known as People-friendly DC.
His successor Dr Jagadeesha K G will be taking charge as the new DC of Dakshina Kannada. Dr Jagadish was the DC of Kalaburgi district. Before his transfer as the DC of DK he was the Managing director of Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation.
The orders have been passed by the government on July 21.
