Dr. Krithi Karanth-CWS Chief Conservation Scientist selected for 2019 Women of Discovery Award!

We are happy to share with you that our Chief Conservation Scientist, Dr. Krithi Karanth has been chosen to receive the 2019 Women of Discovery Award awarded by WINGS Worldquest. The main objective of WINGS worldquest is to recognize and support extraordinary women in science and exploration.

Since its inception in 2003, they have provided grants to 84 extraordinary women scientist and explorer to continue their path breaking quest in their respective fields. WINGS Outreach has created a strong community of fellows working passionately towards scientific advancement, and enabling women to overcome gender disparity in different fields.

The other awardees for 2019 WINGS Women of Discovery Award are Dr. Mande Holford, Dr. Laly Lichentenfeld and Dr. Darlene Lim are all stalwarts in their respective fields.
