Dr Parameshwar should become CM for welfare of 6 crore people – Poojary during Mangaluru Dasara inauguration

Mangaluru: The Mangaluru Dasara was inaugurated by the former Home minister and the President of KPCC Dr G Parameshwar at the Shree Gokarnanatha Kshethra Kudroli here on September 28.

Dr G Parameshwar visited the Kshetra and sought the blessings of Goddess Sharada. A special Puja was held at the temple praying for Dr G Parameshwar. During the Puja, the Chairman and the founder trustee of Shree Gokarnanatha Kshethra Janardhan Poojary prayed for Dr Parameshwar to become the Chief Minister of Karnataka and also the president of India.

The programme began with an invocation. The Treasurer of the Kshethra, Advocate Padmaraj R, welcomed the gathering. The former home Minister Dr G Parameshwar inaugurated the programme by lighting the traditional lamp along with other dignitaries. The Mangaluru Dasara was officially inaugurated by Dr Parameshwar by handing over the flag to the President of the Temple management Committee H S Sairam.

Addressing the gathering Janardhan Poojary said, “I decided to invite a person who has dedicated his life to communal harmony in the state to inaugurate the Mangaluru Dasara. Even though my health is not good, I still do not sleep till 4 am. On September 27, early morning I had a dream and in the dream Gokarnanath appeared and said that KPCC President Dr G Parameshwar is a perfect person to inaugurate the Mangaluru Dasara. If a God himself has come in my dream and advised me to invite Dr Parameshwar because he has special qualities in him. It is a co-incident that Dr Parameshwar called me on September 27 and informed me that he is coming for the inauguration of Mangaluru Dasara. I prayed to God, that for the welfare of 6 crores people in the state, Dr Parameshwar should be the Chief Minister and later he should become the president of this country.”

Addressing the gathering Dr G Parameshwar said, “On September 27, at the KPCC office some leaders joined the Congress party, one of them was film star Rajshekar Kotian. He came along with his friends to the KPCC office and invited me to attend the Mangaluru Dasara at Shree Gokarnanath temple. I said, without the invitation of our senior leader Janardhan Poojary I will not come. Later I called Janardhan Poojary and today I am here and have inaugurated the Dasara. This is my second visit to this temple.”

Dr G Parameshwar further said, “I was born in a SC family but when I was born I had never applied to be born in a particular family. We, humans, have made the caste and religion. I have not seen such a caste system in any other country. Only in our country, we see such caste system. In this modern world, we need equality. Nowadays the world has become a small village and in this small village, we need to live in unity. If we understand the meaning of peace and harmony this world will be a better place to live in. Dasara means devotion of Goddess Sharada and Navadurghes, the new beginning and the victory over evil. Let us all fight against the evil and be victorious.”

Dr G Parameshwar also said, “Janardhana Poojary has maintained values in politics. He has taught us what is politics and how to be in politics. He is our role model. Throughout his political career, Poojary has built himself a reputation. Poojary has encouraged many people to join politics. Today it is my pleasure to be here at this holy place to inaugurate the Mangaluru Dasara”.

Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader, MLA of Mangaluru South Constituency J R Lobo, MLA of Moodbidri Abhaychandra Jain, MLA of Mangaluru North Constituency Moideen Bava, Mayor Kavitha Sanil, Chief Whip Ivan D’Souza, DCC President Harish Kumar and others were also present. Manohar Prasad compered the programme.
