The proprietor of Land Trades Srinath Hebbar welcomed the gathering. The programme was inaugurated by the Mayor of MCC Bhaskar K by lighting the traditional lamp along with other dignitaries on the dais.
Addressing the gathering Dr Shantharam Shetty said, “I am happy to take part in this programme. From the past 60 years, I live in this locality. I am proud of Kadri area and this place is very unique because there is the Kadri Sri Manjunatha Temple, St Agnes College, St Sebastian Church and Hospitals. Drinking water is available 24 X 7 in this area and Srinath Hebbar has constructed beautiful buildings here. If you see any of the buildings Srinath Hebbar has constructed, they are very beautiful, there is a class in his work. You can differentiate between good and bad, and good and best only by the class of your work. Whatever Hebbar has constructed he has constructed classic buildings.”
While concluding Dr Shantharam said, “I would like to congratulate Srinath Hebbar for this beautiful building and also to those who occupy this building I wish them pleasant stay at Lenhil Ferns.”
Land owner Hilda Fernandes speaking on the occasion said, “God provided us with an angel in the form of Srinath Hebbar well known for quality construction who with his hard work, dedication and commitment gave us this elegant “Lenhil ferns” by making the impossible, possible. I wish Srinath Hebbar good health, peace, prosperity and success in his future endeavours. I wish all those who dwell here, peace, joy and happy stay. Congrats Land Trades and Long live Lenhil Ferns”.
Former MLA J R Lobo said, “Srinath is popular in providing quality buildings to his customers. Any work he starts, he plans it well and those who give the land to Srinath Hebbar to develop he does it with a proper plan. Lenhil Ferns is also constructed with all the basic facilities maintaining quality. Seeing all the high rise buildings in Mangaluru city people think that the population here is more than 10 lakh. If we say that the population here is only 5 lakh, no one will believe it. The basic standard of living in Mangaluru is high and Mangaluru is the best livable city. Mangluru is popular throughout the world with the standard of living. Today the Builders have played a vital role in the development of the city. People do not compromise with the quality. If we see the flats in Mumbai or Goa there is day and night difference since in Mangaluru builders give priority to the quality in construction. House is not only the building but is a home. I wish happiness and prosperity to all those who live in Lenhil Ferns.”
Former Mayor Sashidhar Hegde speaking on the occasion said that from the past five years we have done concreted roads, drainage system and provided 24X7 drinking water facilities. We have also increased the height of the Vented dam because of which it is now possible to provide uninterrupted drinking water. Even in the development of Mangaluru City, builders have played a vital role and from the past 25 years Srinath Hebbar has been involved in the construction field, he has constructed beautiful buildings and increased the beauty of Mangaluru. I congratulate Srinath Hebbar for completing Lenhil Ferns on time and wish him success in his future endeavours.”
Speaking on the occasion D B Mehta said, “From the past two years we hear that the real estate business is slowing down and the rates may correct further. Many who had heard this kind of news withheld their purchase of apartments. But does these kinds of news articles work in real life? This is a wonderful opportunity that has come in the investor’s way to purchase apartments or individual houses. If you look at the West, in the USA the last four years has given a return of 40% in real estate which is very very high and if you see the interest in the US is only 4%. Hongkong has given a return of 60% in the last four years, China doubled in the last 10 years. Look at India in last five years we have come down to 15% in real estate prices. In the Global scenario, this is a very good opportunity for the people of Mangaluru to invest in real estate. There are many schemes from the government such as Pradhan Mantri Awaz Yojana for the lower middle-income group and another CLSS, which is applicable for middle-income group. In this scheme, up to a carpet area of 2000 sq ft, you can get certain benefits.”
D B Mehta further said, “Now this is the right time to buy apartments because now the GST is only 12% and you will get good benefits. It is a very good deal and high time to invest. I congratulate all the owners of this beautiful “Lenhill Ferns” for taking the right decision to invest in Land Trades project because their projects are absolutely good in quality and I am proud to have Hebbar as CREDAI member. We have never received a single complaint from any of the customers about Land Trades, which proves volumes of the quality of Land Trades. I wish all the owners in “Lenhill Ferns” all the very best and a pleasant stay.”
Mayor Bhaskar K delivered the presidential address. Christina from Land Trades delivered the vote of thanks. Manohar Prasad compered the programme.
