Dr Ullas Shetty of AJ wins Best Paper Presentation at Forensicon 2016

Mangaluru: Dr Ullas Shetty, Assistant Professor of Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology of AJ Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Mangaluru, secured best paper presentation in staff category and Dr Gautham N, Post-graduate student, secured first place in Postgraduate Quiz competition at XIIIth Annual Conference of South India Medico-legal Association (SIMLA) – “Forensicon 2016”, organized by the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, KS Hegde Medical Academy, NITTE University, Mangaluru, Karnataka held at the Nitte University, recently.

The conference included most of the teaching institutions from different parts of the country and some colleges from abroad.

This is a rare achievement of the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology of AJ Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre wherein both in the faculty section and in the postgraduate quiz competition have secured the topmost position.

The Management and Dean of the institution commended the achievements of the winners and the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
