Drew Barrymore files for divorce
Los Angeles, July 16 (IANS) Actress Drew Barrymore has officially filed for divorce from her art consultant husband Will Kopelman.
Papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court suggest that there will be no messy fights between the two, who were friends for years before they began dating in 2011. The divorce is characterised in court documents as uncontested, New York Daily News reported.
Barrymore and Kopelman married in 2012 and have two daughters: Olive, 3; and Frankie, 2. They announced in April that they had separated.
Barrymore, 41, was married twice before. Both of those marriages lasted for less than a year.
Kopelman, 39, dated other actresses but was never married before.
The couple said when they announced their separation that their girls were their “first priority” and they intended to remain a family.
