Driver killed, 20 hurt in bus-truck collision at Byndoor
Kundapur: A Tanker driver was killed and 20 passengers in a bus injured when the bus they were travelling in collided into a Tanker at Nagoor near Byndoor here on Monday March 27.
The deceased has been identified as Tanker Driver Narayan Achar, a resident of Shivalli, Udupi Taluk.
According to the police the private bus was on its way from Kundapur to Byndoor, a tanker which was coming from the opposite direction collided head-on into the bus. The Tanker driver Narayan Achar was killed on the spot.
The Bus driver and other passengers who were injured have been admitted to Private hospitals in Kundapur.
A Case has been registered in the Byndoor Police Station.
