Driver’s Presence of Mind Averts Major Accident

Udupi: A ghastly road accident was averted due to the presence of mind of the school bus driver of Trinity Central School, Perampalli, here on 27 June, 2016.

Two school buses were about to collide, but due to the quick thinking of the school bus driver, the accident was averted. The school bus of Trinity Central School was returning  back after dropping students to the school.

Another school bus, which was coming from the opposite direction, was about to collide with it near Sharada Mantapa, Beedingudde. The Trinity Central School bus driver moved the bus to the extreme left allowing the other school bus, full of children, to pass safely.

The Trinity school bus was then stuck in the loose mud on the side of the road.
