Drug Mafia Controlling State Govt, Congress Leaders Involved in Sand Mining – Yeddyurappa

Mangaluru: “In DK the Parivarthana Yatra was successful, today the Yatra will be held in Udupi. The sexual harassment case of Karnataka In-charge Venugopal and the corruption of Siddaramaiah is the talk of the town. Siddramaiah says our government is very transparent, let the opposition prove the corruption against him. But Siddaramaiah has forgotten the de-notification scam, BBMP scam, Dubai watch scam and many more scams, even the Bengaluru roads are filled with potholes. The Congress government has misused the Lokayukta, more than 30 cases are filed against the CM but none of them have been investigated nor the FIR registered”, said the former CM B S Yeddyurappa in a press meet held at Hotel Gold Finch here on November 12.

Addressing the mediapersons Yeddyurappa said, “If the Congress government is transparent let Siddaramaiah hand over all the corruption cases to the CBI. K C Venugopal the in-charge of Karnataka who is facing sexual harassment case and corrupt Siddaramaiah are looting the Karnataka state. Venugopal should be dropped from the In-charges post. CM Siddaramaiah also says that he has given uniforms to the backward class students at a cost of Rs 76 crore which is of very cheap quality and is returned by the students now”.

Yeddyurappa further said, “In the state, the law and order situation has totally failed. There is an increase of sexual harassment against women and girls, the kidnapping of women and children, murder, dacoity has drastically increased and the police department has lost control over the law and order situation. In the history of the state for the first time, the police staged a protest. The coastal region is a very sensitive and the Kerala Model type of murders are taking place here. There are a number of such murders including that of Harish Poojary, Sharat Madival and many others”.

Yeddyurappa also said, “Anti-social activities are at the peak in the coastal district and it is a challenge to provide safety for the people of the district. If the BJP comes to power within three months we will start the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the coastal district. Congress leaders are involved in sand mining and the poor people are facing problems to build houses due to the hike in sand price. The Drug mafia is rampant in the state. Instead of the government controlling the Drug Mafia, the drug mafia is controlling the government. Siddaramaiah says that he is not corrupt and if the opposition has evidence let them provide it. But we have all the documents which we will provide in the next session. After getting all the proof will he resign and go home?”
