- Free 30kg allowance to and from destinations in Gulf extended until year-end
Dubai: Indian low-cost carrier Air India Express has extended its 30kg baggage allowance for passengers flying from the UAE and other Gulf states.
The carrier had earlier announced that its 30kg promotion would run until June 15, 2015.
A press statement issued by the carrier’s Middle East office said the free baggage allowance has been extended on all of its routes from Gulf and Middle East to India all year round.
Tickets issued prior to June 5, 2015 will also be entitled for the above free baggage allowance, said Melwin D’Silva, Air India Express Regional Manager for Gulf, Middle East and Africa.
Among the Gulf states, its flies to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Muscat, Salalah, Bahrain, Doha and Kuwait.
