UAE: An electrifying night of Bollywood-style musical entertainment drew a huge crowd to Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on 16 January, as Sonu Nigam, one of India’s most celebrated and loved singers, delivered a fantastic performance with a 50-member troupe of musicians at ‘THE EPIC EVENT – My Musical Journey’.
Organised as part of the 20th anniversary of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the much-awaited concert marked a spectacular evening of DSF’s “Journey into Music”, featuring some of the icon’s Bollywood chartbusters. From singing and dancing to their favourite songs, to simply relishing the acoustic treat – fans were spotted having a blast with near and dear ones.
From the beginning till the end, Sonu Nigam and his troupe of musicians, entertained audiences, both young and old, as they let the magic of music take over them throughout the concert. Led by his charismatic performance and versatile talents – the singer drove the excitement to a completely new level at this world-class show.
The ongoing 20th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival is organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and is being held under the theme, “A Journey of Celebrations”. DSF 2015 celebrates its key pillars of Winning, Shopping and Entertainment by offering more than 150 citywide events, mega attractions and numerous shopping opportunities and winning options for visitors and residents from around the world.
