EC Raids Saree Shop in Udyavar for Sale of Modi Brand Sarees
Udupi: The Election commission on April 2 raided a saree shop in Udyavar and seized sarees which contained the picture of PM Modi.
Jayalaxmi Silks and Cloth Store was selling Modi brand sarees in their Stores. The election commission getting information about the sale of Modi brand Sarees raided Jayalaxmi Silks and Cloth Stores and seized all the sarees.
The election officers received the purchase bill of Modi brand sarees sold at Jayalaxmi Silks and Cloth Stores. During the raid, the owner of the stores did not co-operate with the election officers. The election officers later raided the stores with the help of the police.
