Eco-club inaugurated at MITE College
Moodubidri: Asst. Conservator of forests in Kudremukh National Park inaugurated the eco-club at the MITE College here recently. The programme was organized by Department of MBA. The main motto behind this is to protect the environment and keep the surrounding clean.
As a part of inauguration of the club, the committee organized a session which was delivered by BhaskarB who spoke on the conservation of forest and also on the importance of safeguarding the resources or else which would vanish down the line of years. He also imbibed us on the activities that were going on in the wild life sanctuaries and the measures that were undertaken by them in order to set them right. It was interactive sessions were few doubts of the student were cleared on various issues which lasted for almost one and half hour.
With the inauguration the committee also undertook two sets of activity that is:
- Creating awareness about the environment and cleanliness that has to be maintained in the surrounding we live to all the students of MITE Campus by the student coordinators of Eco-Club.
- Planting the saplings in Govt. school Masthikatte where we planted different varieties of plants in the school ground with the guidance of Faculty coordinator Prof. Akash S accompanied with eco club members.
This program was possible only because of the continuous guidance and motivation from Head of Business Administration Jayadeva Prasadh Moleyar, other faculty members of MBA and the student coordinators Thilak and Ifrar and team.
