Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated on July 6
Mangaluru/Udupi: Muslim fraternity in Mangaluru and Udupi district will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday July 6, marking the culmination of a month-long fasting.
The announcement was made by the Qazi of Dakshina Kannada, Moulana Twaka Ahammed Musliyar, since the new moon could not be sighted.
The prayer timing for Eid-ul-Fitr
Mangaluru: Bavutagudde Eidgah Masjid – 8:00 am, Jumma Masjid Ullal 9:00 am, Moodbidri All-Purkan Centre – 7.30 am.
Udupi Distirct: Pulkeri Mosque Karkala – 7.30 am, Jamia Mosque, Udupi – 8.30 am, Anjuman Mosque Udupi – 9.15 am, Jumma Mosque Adiudupi – 8 am, Noorani Mosque, Indrali – 7.45 am.
