Eight Students Injured after Auto Rickshaw Overturns at Kadiyali
Udupi: Eight students of a private school were injured when the auto in which they were travelling overturned on Kadiyali-Manipal road on Tuesday, September 3.
According to sources, on Tuesday morning when a auto was carrying school children from Shanthi Nagara to Kadiayli, a motorbike moving in the auto front of the auto applied sudden brakes. In order to avoid hitting the motorbike, the Auto driver too applied brakes due to which the driver of the Auto lost control and the auto overturned.
Eight students who were travelling in the Auto Rickshaw were sustained minor injuries and were shifted to a Private Hospital.
Manipal Police after visiting the spot and collecting necessary information are investigating the case.
