Emergency should be declared in Jammu and Kashmir – Sharan Pumpwell

Udupi: “Emergency should be declared in Jammu and Kashmir”, said Bajrang Dal State Convener Sharan Pumpwell. He was speaking at a protest organised in front of the Clock Tower here on May 2.

Sharan further said, “The soldiers during the floods in Kashmir had saved the lives of the people of Kashmir, but today the same people are hitting those soldiers with stones and humiliating them. Such type of humiliation cannot be tolerated. In India, women are worshipped and respected but in the case of Kashmir women wearing the burka have used abusive language against the soldiers. The Jihadi youth are involved in killing our soldiers. Some people in Kashmir are supporting and promoting terror in the valley.”

The VHP and Bajrang Dal urges the Union Government and President of India to declare an emergency in Jammu and Kashmir to resolve the crisis. The military rule should be imposed in the valley and the military should be given a free hand to deal with the people who are sponsoring terror in the valley. Article 365 should be withdrawn and Jammu and Kashmir should be brought under the parameters of the constitution to solve the ongoing crisis.

He also said that the Prime Minister has been playing a vital role in boosting the morale of the soldiers, soldiers of foreign countries are very much respected, we owe much to our soldiers, he added.

Former MLA Raghupati Bhat, Sunil K R, ZP Member Sumith Shetty and others were present.

The best option is to send Sharan Pumpwell to Kashmir. Let him sort out things by himself. Everyone knows what Sharan Pumpwell has given to the society. This guy will do whatever to come to limelight.
Army will deal appropriately in J&K. Nobody needs Sharan’s opinion.
