Lucky escape for students in bus-car collision at Byndoor
Kundapur: School children of Green Valley School Shiroor, who were travelling in a school bus, had a narrow escape on Tuesday, June 28 when their bus was hit by a speeding car at Sankadagundi Byndoor here.
According to the police, the accident took place in the afternoon at Sankadagudi when the students were returning home on the bus. A Hyundai i20, which is coming from the opposite direction, collided with the school bus. The car was damaged badly.
Soon after the accident, villagers rushed to the spot for help. Students were sent home in another vehicle.
No case has been registered in this regard.
