Ex-Milagres ‘Ghagro Teacher’ Louisa D’Silva Passes Away at age 100
Louisa D’silva fondly known as “Ghagro Teacher” (Skirt Teacher), “Aunt Lou”; “Bobby Teacher” and many other names, while she was teaching at Milagres School, Mangaluru passed away at the age 100, at her residence in Kulshekar on 24 January 2018. Her 100th Birthday was hosted by her family members, especially Canute and Grace D’silva, in a grand scale on 5 July 2017 at Holy Cross Church, Cordel-Kulshekar-Mangaluru, attended by family members, relatives and friends.
FUNERAL DETAILS:
Louisa D’Silva (100) -Retired Teacher at Milagres High School, Mangaluru, daughter of Late Dominic Rosario D’silva; Sister of Evelyn, Linette, the late Benedict, the late Valerian, and the late William D’silva passed away on Wednesday 24 January 2018.
The funeral cortege will leave residence “Sacred Heart Villa”, next to Spoorthi Complex, near Kulshekar Church, Mangaluru to Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar on Thursday, 25 January at 3 pm, followed by mass at 3.30 pm.
