Factory Manager Killed on Spot as Iron Gate falls on him
Udupi: A 22-year-old youth died after a heavy iron gate fell on him on Monday, May 8 at the western Meta Chemicals Barkur under the Brahmavar Police Station limits here.
The deceased has been identified as Nagesh (22) a native of Hassan. He was working as a manager in the same factory.
According to the police on Monday morning while Nagesh was trying to open the gate, the gate suddenly fell on Nagesh’s head. As the gate was very heavy, he died on the spot. The factory is owned by Suresh Shetty a resident of Ambalpady Udupi.
