Fashion Show Marks Closing Day of Flea Market by Urban Souk
Mangaluru: The two-day Flea Market organised by Urban Souk concluded with the Fashion Show by Designer Manthra at the Bharath Mall here on May 7.
The concluding programme began with the participation of the public in singing and dancing on the stage. Gift Vouchers from various sponsors were handed over to the participants.
On the second day the Flea Market opened from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. There was a cultural programme and entertainment from the Urban Souk team, Bengaluru. Being a Sunday the crowd was huge. People visiting the Mall purchased a variety of the favourite homemade and other items on sale. The crowd was waiting eagerly for the beautiful models to walk the ramp. There were about 12 models who mesmerized the crowd with their catwalk on the ramp.
Speaking to mangalorean.com Founder and MD of Urban Souk Khader Khan said, “This is the first time we are organising the Flea Market in Mangaluru. We will organize such events in the future with more entertainment, fun and frolic. The Models from Designer Manthra performed well. Mangalorean model and runner-up of Mr India Manhunt International, Alester D’Souza performed professionally and very well on the ramp. We will come again to hold such shows in Mangaluru,” he said.

Safwan Shiekh entertained the crowd with his humorous compering. Youths of Mangaluru rocked the stage to the favourite Pili Nalike music.
