Federation of World Bunts’ Association to Hold ‘Vishwa Buntara Sammilana – 2018’
Mangaluru: “The Federation of World Bunts’ Association and Udupi district organizations will be jointly organizing “Vishwa Buntara Sammilana – 2018″, at the Tonse Shashirekha Anand Shetty Vedike, Ammanni Ramanna Sabha Bhavan Udupi on September 9, 2018”, said the chairman of the FWBA Aikalaa Harish Shetty in a press meet held at Hotel Foodland here on September 1.
Addressing the mediapersons Harish Shetty said, “The programme will be inaugurated by Justice N Santhosh Hegde. The Chief Minister of Karnataka H D Kumaraswamy will be gracing the closing ceremony in the evening. Lokayukta justice P Vishwanath Shetty, Dr R N Shetty, Dr Vinay Hegde and many other dignitaries will be present. Swamijis from various Temples, eminent personalities, NRI Entrepreneurs, People’s representatives, Celebrities, Bollywood actors and directors from various organizations will also be gracing the event.”
Harish Shetty further said, “There will be cultural programmes, interactions, Yakshagana and other programmes. Financial help will be given to the poor families of the community. The association has already collected funds from Mumbai and distributed Rs 20 lakh to the needy families. Vishwanath Shetty has donated 1 acre of land in Karnire where the association will construct houses for the poor families. We have also submitted a memorandum to the government to support the association in constructing houses for the poor families.”
Secretary Vijay Prasad Alva, Treasurer Kolladi Balakrishna Rai and Joint Secretary Jayakar Shetty Indrali were also present.
