Filmstar Ester Noronha in Mega Goan Show
Kuwait: Goan Overseas Association (G.O.A Maroons) will present a mega Konkani musical show in Kuwait on 21st February 2020 at the luxurious Khaldiya University auditorium.
The show entitled ‘AMI GOENKAR’ will be directed by Kuwait based dynamic Goan Shri Fidelis Fernandes.
It will feature a galaxy of famous artistes with Mangalorean superstar Ester Noronha as one of the major attractions.
Star artistes from Goa consist of Lawry Travasso, Nephie Rod, Seby de Divar, Comedian Augustine, Comedian Janet, Comedian Selvy, Ben Evangelisto, Everleigh, Slenzitta, Frenzie, and Elaine Pinto.
KUWAIT ARTISTES, & MUSICIANS
Kuwait-based artistes include Clemmie Almeida, Esparansa, Balthazar Pontes, SebyMascarenhas, SebyD’Silva, and Gasper Crasto.
Music for the show will be provided by Kuwait’s magical maestro – Shahu Almeida and Goa’s supremo Norman Cardozo. London-based Goan drummer MatiasSequeira, bass guitarist Dennis Gonsalves, and a trumpeter will complete the team.
Cheslee D’Souza will be in charge of stage-sets and sound while the hall management will be done by DerickGomindes.

STAR ATTRACTION – ESTER NORONHA
Ester Noronha is an entertainer, well known as a singer, dancer, performer and film actress in Konkani, Telugu and Kannada languages.
She is currently venturing into Hindi, Tamil and Marathi films.
Ester has evolved as a singer over the years and is popular as a playback singer too. She rendered her voice for Nachom-iaKumpasar for the song ‘Meu Amor’.
She also sang for the Konkani film ‘Sophiya’ in which she acted too.
Earlier, Ester acted in ‘NoxibachoKhell’, a historic blockbuster which created a milestone in the Konkani cinema world, thus making Ester a household name in the Mangalorean Konkani speaking community globally.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
The director, Mr. Fidelis Fernandes hails from Colva, Salcette, Goa. His last musical was ‘SathPanvdde’ which also starred a number of megastars.
Fidelis was President of Konkani Heritage Kuwait (KHK) which has, in the past, presented Konkani Tiatrs, one-act play competitions, singing competitions, and Konkani ‘Songitsanz’ (musical) shows in Kuwait under his able direction.
Fidelis came into limelight as an able sports administrator after the invasion and liberation of Kuwait when he joined Goa Maroons as its General Secretary.
In 2009, Fidelis was elected president of the Kuwait Indian Football Federation (KIFF) and occupied the position for 5 consecutive seasons till June 2014. He has been associated with KIFF for several years in various other positions and has been also elected to executive committees of New Goan Overseas Association (1987), Goan Welfare Society (GWS) (1989), Colva United Centre-Kuwait (2005), Kuwait Goan Association (KGA), among others.
