Fire breaks out at Jayadev Vespa motor-bike showroom in Indrali
Udupi : Fire broke out at the Vespa Bike showroom in Indrali on Sunday, June 23 night.
According to the fire officials, since the showroom was closed no employees or customers were present during the incident.
The fire occurred at around 9:00 pm following a short circuit in the showroom. The nearby petrol bunk staff noticed smoke coming from the showroom and alerted the fire control room. Three Fire tenders were pressed into service and tried to douse the fire. The fire spread across the first floor and gutted the scooters.
As precautionary measures, MESCOM disconnected the power supply across Manipal Area.
