Fired Staffer Seeks Guv’s Sanction to Kill Superiors!

Bengaluru: M S Mokshakumar, an employee of Chitradurga zilla panchayat, had been suspended from service for dereliction of duty on Feb 20 last year.

Soon thereafter, he had written a letter to the higher-ups in the state that he was not being paid his full salary. Besides, he listed other cases of injustice like denial of promotion. While a departmental inquiry was in progress, he had accused, his service records had mysteriously gone missing.

Being unable to bear the harassment, he had also sought permission for mercy-killing of himself and family.

Mokshakumar is in the news again, with a perceived intention to grant ‘moksha’ to his three erstwhile superiors. He has written a letter to state governor Vajubhai Vala, seeking sanction to murder the three officials – ZP manager Chandrashekhar and case workers K V Sunil and Shridhar, as he was not given justice nor was he granted mercy-killing.

The letter written by Mokshakumar on May 19 is now in the hands of the governor. Following this development, the three officials have complained to the police, seeking protection.

In response to this rarest of rare bizarre act, the law-enforcement authorities are undecided as to what action can be taken against him.
