Fish-laden Tempo Hits and Injures Pedestrian at Yermal
Udupi: A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a fish-laden tempo on NH 66 near Yermal on Thursday, October 26.
The injured person has been identified as Mohsin Khan (27) a resident of Amaravathi, Maharastra.
According to the police, Mohsin Khan after parking his truck on the side of the road, while trying to cross the road was hit by a speeding fish-laden tempo. Mohsin Khan who fell unconscious to the ground was rushed to a private hospital Udupi. The tempo driver managed to flee from the spot but locals chased the tempo driver and handed him over to the police.
The Padubidri Police visited the spot and have registered the case.
