Fishermen’s Govt. Subsidy Diesel worth Rs 58.67 lakh misused
Udupi: A complaint on the misuse of diesel worth Rs 58.67 lakh has been registered in the Malpe Police station on Sunday, July 2.
Anjana Devi deputy director of Fisheries Department has filed a complaint against Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district co-operative fish sellers’ federation Malpe Diesel bunk. In the Complaint, she has stated that while she was inspecting the distribution of Diesel between 2014 August to May 2015 in Malpe Diesel Bunk she found that, the Diesel bunk Manager and in-charge had misused used the fishermen’s govt subsidy diesel for their own use.
The Malpe police have registered the case and investigation on.
