Los Angeles, June 4 (IANS) Singer FKA Twigs has called her relationship with actor Robert Pattinson “amazing” and insisted that she’s “fine” with rapper T-Pain announcing their engagement.
The 27-year-old singer admits she gets more attention because of her union with the 29-year-old actor but doesn’t worry about it, even when she receives “horrible” racist slurs and threats on social media about her mixed-race heritage, because their romance makes everything worthwhile, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I wouldn’t say I’m completely numb to it now, but there’s definitely a numbness there. It is pretty horrible. But ultimately, I’m in an amazing relationship. So it doesn’t matter,” she told Complex magazine.
Back in April, T-Pain revealed that the “Two weeks” hitmaker is engaged to the “Twilight” star before the couple got a chance to announce it themselves.
While Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, said she didn’t want to talk about it much, she also said she’s “fine” with the rapper’s slip.
She said: “I’d rather not talk about it. It’s fine, I’m a pretty chill person, do you know what I mean… If you can’t touch it, it’s not real.”
