Flash Mob cum Skit Performance by Aloysians at City Centre Mall

Mangaluru: On 28 June, Centre for Social Concern of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) and BA Social Work department organized a Flash Mob cum Skit Performance as a part of observing of International day against Drug and Illicit Trafficking, which was on 26-6-2018. Performance was conducted in the Ground floor of City Centre Mall at 5pm. 25 students from different U.G streams performed in it.

The program started with a Flash Mob and later shifted to a skit on Drug abuse among adolescents. Large crowd including mall staffs, Students, Police officials and Faculties from the college were gathered. Udhay M Nayak, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Central Subdivision, Mangaluru) The officials of Economic & Narcotic Crime Police Station Pandeshawar, Ms Manjula, Shyam Sundar, Lakshmeesha Head Constable Ms Anuradha Murudeshwara, Asst Sub-inspector, North Police Station Pandeshawar and Ganeh Mulky Nayak, Freelance Program Organizer/Coordinator were attended.

Soon after the programme, the students collected signatures of the Audience on a memorandum which demands for the Prohibition of Smoking areas inside Bars and Restaurants in Karnataka.

City of Mangalore is moving forward swiftly and progressively. Obviously, the Social and Economic outlook of the City is also changing steadily with growing infrastructure, bigger roads, bigger high rises and many other improvements in the City. The City needs a face uplift with greater spirits so that people enjoy the benefits of all the progress that is bestowed upon them with greater Educational, Industrial and Economic growth.
