Floods in Kerala – Changes in Pattern of Trains

Due to heavy rains, landslips, flash floods and closure of section between Shoranur – Kozhikkode in Palghat Division and Ernakulam – Kottayam – Kayankulam section in Trivandrum Division, the following changes are made in the pattern of service :

RUNNING OF EXPRESS SPECIALS

There will be an Express Special from Trivandrum to Howrah via Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Chennai Egmore, Gudur to Howrah. This special will leave Trivandrum at 17.00 hrs on 18th August.

TRAINS FULLY CANCELLED

Train No.22641 Trivandrum – Shalimar Express of 18th August

Train No.12645 Ernakulam – Nizamuddin Express of 18th August

Train No.22609 Mangalore – Coimbatore Intercity Express of 18th August

Train No.22610 Coimbatore – Mangalore Intercity Express of 18th August

TRAINS PARTIALLY CANCELLED

Train No13351 Dhanbad – Alleppey Express which left Dhanbad on 15th August is partially cancelled between Erode and Alleppey

Train No.13352 Alleppey – Dhanbad of 19th August will be partially cancelled between Alleppey and Chennai and will run from Chennai to Dhanbad

Tain No.22644 Patna – Ernakulam Express of 16th August is partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Ernakulam

Train No.22640 Alleppey – Chennai Express of 18th August is partially cancelled between Alleppey and Coimbatore

Train No. 16526 KSR Bengaluru – Kanniyakumari Express
Train No. 16527 Yesvantpur –Kannur Express
Train No. 16528 Kannur – Yesvantpur Express

DIVERSION OF TRAIN

Train No. 12626 New Delhi – Trivandrum Kerala Express that left on 16th August is diverted via Erode, Dindigul, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil Town.
