FMHMC to host ‘PRERANA 2020’- Mega Health Exhibition & Intercollegiate Literary/Creativity Fest
Mangaluru: Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Deralakatte, a pioneer institute in the field of Homoeopathic Medical Education and Research is organizing Mega Health Exhibition along with Intercollegiate Literary and Creativity Fest, ‘PRERANA 2020’ on 23rd & 24th January 2020.
PRERANA, a unique innovative fest began in the year 2009. The main aim of this program is to provide a platform to students of various Pre-University colleges and High Schools of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts to exhibit their talents. Since its inception it is been conducted successfully every year with large number of participants.
The unique innovative specialty of the PRERANA 2020 is MEDICAL MODEL making competition for the students. During this event, an effort will be made to create awareness about common medical conditions along with their prevention, nutrition and diet plans to maintain good health. Screening tests will be done to get aware about Health aspects and Games regarding health will be conducted. Attractive cash prizes will be given to the winners. Around 2000 students from various schools, colleges, Medical & Technical Institutions are participating in this spectacular event. This unique programme will be inaugurated on 23rd January 2020 at 9.30 a.m. in the College Auditorium.
Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director FMCI will preside over the Inaugural programme. U.T. Khader, M.L.A., Mangalore Constituency will be the Chief Guest and will inaugurate the programme. Dr Mohammed Iqbal, District Ayush Officer, Dakshina Kannada, Sr Dr M. Jeswina A.C., Principal, St Agnes College, Mangaluru, Shri Sheena Shetty, District Sanitation Ambassador, Dakshina Kannada will be the Guests of Honour.
