FMMC to host 1st National Cardiac Emergency Conference, ‘CECON 2018’ on November 10 & 11
Mangaluru: For the first time in the history of India, cardiac simulation will be used to demonstrate cardiac emergencies using cardiac manicure at the 1st National Cardiac Emergency Conference, “CECON 2018” hosted by Father Muller Medical College. The conference will be held on November 10 and 11 at Father Muller Medical College Hospital, Mangalore.
More than 600 representatives from all over India will be attending the conference. Eminent International and National Speakers from the field of Cardiology and Medicine will be the resource persons for the various current topics. This conference is most relevant since cardiovascular disease, is the world’s number one killer. The conference will cover an array of cardiac emergencies including heart attack, stroke and other heart-related diseases.
The inauguration of the conference will take place on Saturday, November 10 at 12:15 pm at Decennial Memorial Hall.
Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions will be presiding over the programme. Dr S Sachhidanand, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka will be the chief guest and Mr N Vinaya Hegde, Chancellor, Nitte(Deemed to be university) will be present as the guest of honour.
