Foreign Exchange Programme at St Aloysius Industrial Training Institute
Mangaluru: Foreign Exchange program was organised at St. Aloysius Industrial Training Institute on 11th Feb 2020 in the college auditorium. The programme commenced by inaugurating the electrical tools and newly built electrical wiring room in the Electrical Workshop and was blessed by Rev. Fr Dr. Leo D’Souza SJ, Former Director of the institution. Mrs. Silvana Rizzi, Alberto Pessani and Mrs.Roberta Nepoti from Italy were the dignitaries.
The formal programme commenced by a prayer conducted by the students. A beautiful welcome dance was presented by Sewing Technology students. Later Alwyn Menezes, Vice Principal escorted the dignitaries to the dais. Rev. Fr Cyril D’Mello SJ, Director of the institution extended a cordial welcome to the dignitaries and were honoured with a Shawl and Garland.
The participation certificates were distributed by the guest to the students who participated in the Tech Fest 2020 on 7th & 8th February. Addressing the students Mrs. Silvana Rizzi, great grand Niece of Br. Antonio Moscheni who had painted the world famous paintings in St Aloysius Chapel said” Fifteen years back when me along with others visited St Aloysius ITI there were only 50 students and now I am happy to see large number of students studying in this institute” . She encouraged the girl students to be taught in large numbers and wished in the coming years she would see large number of girl students in the institute. Alberto Pessani and Mrs. Roberta Nepoti also wished all the students for their bright future.
Alwyn Menezes, Vice Principal proposed the vote of thanks, and Robin Vas, Junior Training Officer conducted the programme. The programme was concluded by National Anthem .
