Forty-Five Test Positive for Coronavirus in Udupi
Udupi: Forty Five Coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Udupi district on July 5, taking the total number of positive cases to 1322.
Of the 45 cases, twenty of them had travelled to Maharashtra, three of them have inter-district travel history, and 19 contracted the virus through local persons who had tested positive for the coronavirus. Two of them had tested positive during random testing.
All Forty-five persons are shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
The number of active cases in the district has now gone up to 183. So far, 1136 patients have been discharged, and Three have succumbed to COVID-19.
